01 · The Centre

India's first address for techno-legal education.

The Rajiv Gandhi National Cyber Law Centre (RGNCLC) was established in 2006 at the National Law Institute University, Bhopal, by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (now the Ministry of Education), Government of India. It is the first centre in the nation built to confront the techno-legal questions of cyberspace.

Its flagship Master of Cyber Law & Information Security (MCLIS) is one of the very few master's degrees in the country that trains a single professional to read a statute and a packet capture with equal ease. Admission is through an All-India Entrance Test, drawing engineers, lawyers, scientists, and commerce graduates into one interdisciplinary cohort.

The Centre works alongside the Ministry of Electronics & IT, DSCI, and the Ministry of Finance, keeping its classrooms one step behind no regulator and no attacker.

07 · The Case for Hiring

Why one MCLIS hire replaces two job descriptions.

07 · A

Deployment-Ready Skillsets

Frameworks, statutes, and tooling covered before day one, so onboarding is measured in days rather than quarters.

07 · B

Hybrid Techno-Legal Fluency

One professional who can brief counsel and configure controls without an interpreter in between.

07 · C

GRC-Ready Workforce

Trained across ISO, NIST, SOC 2, and sectoral mandates, so audit season stops being a fire drill.

07 · D

Secure AI Innovators

Grounded in AI governance and ISO 42001 as the regulation wave arrives, not after it.

07 · E

Cross-Domain Agility

Rotate the same hire across privacy, TPRM, forensics, and audit as your risk map shifts.

07 · F

Reduced Legal Exposure

Compliance built into engineering decisions at the design stage, where it is cheapest.

07 · G

Strategic Problem Solvers

Trained on live regulatory problems with MeitY, DSCI, and industry, not just casebooks.

07 · H

Policy-Driven Execution

Documentation, evidence, and defensibility as instinct, the habits regulators reward.

08 · Placement Protocol

Five steps from invitation to offer.

You register interest with the Placement Coordination Committee and tell us the roles you are hiring for.
